How To Use Debugging Features
When your reports do not print what you expect, you can examine
the Application Log for clues toward an explanation.
Messages From The Report Processor
To see messages from the report processor, turn on
the "Enable Internal Debug Checks" switch in the
Screen and Messages dialog. To access this, pull down the
System menu from the top of the Collect! screen and choose
Preferences to display the System Setup menu. Then choose
Options, Sounds and Colors. This will display the
Screen and Messages dialog. After your report has run, pull down
the System menu and choose Diagnostics, Application Log.
Select "Report" to view messages related to report printing.
This can help debug reports that don't print what you expect.
Messages From The Math Processor
To see messages from the math processor, turn on the
"Enable Internal Debug Checks" switch in the
Screen and Messages dialog. To access this, pull down the
System menu from the top of the Collect! screen and choose
Preferences to display the System Setup menu. Then choose
Options, Sounds and Colors. This will display the
Screen and Messages dialog. After your report has run, pull down
the System menu and choose Diagnostics, Application Log.
Select "Report" to view messages related to report printing.
This can help you debug any reports that aren't
printing what you expect.
If all steps taken do not help correct the problem,
try exiting all programs and restart your computer.
