Looping Report To Spreadsheet

This is an example of a report snippet that may be printed to spreadsheet. This is very useful for outputting information from many database fields to a simple file that may be read and processed by a variety of programs.

tip.gif When printing to spreadsheet it is necessary to add < to each field code to trim white space from the field data printed to the spreadsheet.

This is an example of a Client loop that prints all Debtor information. Each debtor's information is printed on a single line in the spreadsheet.

Aside from this, any other cell formatting is performed in your spreadsheet application.

tip.gif When you print to spreadsheet, Collect! creates a *.csv file, a simple, comma-separated ASCII text file readable by numerous applications.
