Scrolling Through Text
Some lists consist of lines of text, rather than complex database
records. In these lists you can browse using the arrow keys and
the movement keys or the mouse.
Using The Keyboard
1. Up and Down arrow keys scroll by page or record.
2. PgUp and PgDn scroll by pages.
3. Use the arrow keys to scroll a line at a time.
4. Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move the focus.
5. Ctrl-Home and Ctrl-End go to the top and bottom of
the document.
6. Esc (Escape) exits.
Rather than using Esc, you should press F8 to
exit from a form. That way, whatever changes you made
will be saved automatically.
Using The Mouse
Click the scroll bar's up arrow to scroll up
one record.
Click the down arrow to scroll down one record.
Click above the scroll bar highlight to page up.
Click below the scroll bar highlight to page down.
Hold the left mouse button down on the scroll bar's
square "button" and move it up or down to move
several pages at a time.
Put the mouse cursor in the bottom border of a list's screen
and hold down the left mouse button to move down through
the list, one record at time.
Put the mouse cursor in the top border of a list's screen and
hold down the left mouse button to move up through the list,
one record at time.
