Upgrade Record Event History
When you upgrade from an older version of Collect!
you may see the Upgrade Record Event History
progress screen during the upgrade. This indicates
that your contacts are being updated to synchronize
with the new functionality of contact plan events.
Record Event History enables you to specify
whether or not contacts are created when contact
plans run. Behind the scenes, each contact
has this switch set. During the upgrade, pre-existing
contacts are set with the new switch.
This may add a considerable amount of time to your
upgrading process, but only the first time you
upgrade since this feature was introduced.
Estimate - 700,000 contacts take an average 30 minutes
to upgrade.
