How To Use Compressed Print For Reports
Some reports are printed using compressed text on your printer.
Collect! controls the way text is being printed through the use
of Printer Control Codes. These codes are listed under the
Print menu, Settings, Printer Control Codes option.
These printer control codes are sent to your printer whenever
Collect! finds a printer command in a report. The codes are
specific to your printer. Please review your printer manual to
gain an understanding of what commands your printer will
accept. Check the Collect! help index, under Reports for
further information.
Compressed Printing Of Statements
For an example of the use of these codes please check the
Statement report in the Report Definition list by choosing the
Print menu, Customize Printing, Edit Report Templates option.
If you open the report options you will see some commands
under the printer start and end codes.
If your statements are not consistently compressed it relates
to whether the control codes exist. This type of error may be
evident when printing statement batches.
