Stop Credit Reporting
You can delete an account's credit bureau record, but you should
be sure that this is what you want to do.
Normally, you don't want to delete the CBR, but instead mark it either
Paid in Full or some other status. In that case, set the Status and
Special Comments fields as is appropriate.
You have chosen to actually delete the file from the Credit Bureaus
when you set the Status to 04 (inactive closed account) and set the
Special Comments to R (delete file).
Please confirm that you want to delete the file, make sure your special
comment is set to Delete File, and verify with your credit bureau
representative that it's OK to delete an account.
To confirm these details, choose Cancel.
If you are sure of what you are doing, choose Delete from CBR.
