How To Setup Electronic Payment Processing

Collect! allows for very complex configuration for payment processing. You can have Card (Credit/Debit) or Check (ACH/PAD/Bank Withdrawals) in the same currency and in different currencies.

For most sites, you will have a single card gateway and single check gateway. Each of them may use the same gateway credentials, but the reason you enter them as separate gateways records in Collect! is to control what happens with a card transaction vs a check transaction.

To access the setup screen, your menu path is "System\Preferences\ Payment Processing Setup\Payment Gateways".
