New Features - 12-9
Welcome to Collect! Version 12.9. This latest version has several new features and functionality, as well as several
optimizations and enhancements to existing features.
The full revision history is available to Members via the
Member Center.
Display And Environment
Implemented Multi-Factor Authentication ( MFA) in Collect! and the
Web Host.
Added Enable MFA to the Operator Security form which, when enabled,
will enable MFA for the operator and the user will be expected
to type in an MFA code after signing in with the normal user
name and password.
Added MFA Verified to the Operator Security form which, when disabled,
will generate a new secret key for MFA authentication. When enabled,
the existing secret key will be used.
Added MFA Email to the Operator Security form which, when enabled,
will email the operator their one-time password. This requires
a valid email on the operator record and is meant as an alternative
to the QR Code.
Added the ability to send HTML formatted MFA emails by referencing a template in the styles folder.
Added User 1 and User 2 fields to the phone record.
Relabeled 'invalid number' to 'invalid number / debtor unknown' on the Phone record.
Updated the 'NIS reason' pick list on the Phone record to have more entries.
Added entries to the 'Last result' pick list on the Phone record.
Added a Codepage field to the Export Database form which, when populated, will output
the codepage value into a text file in the database folder. The database import to SQL
will use this as the correct codepage for SQL when importing. If blank, the local system
default will be used.
Added the record UID to the 'Log to notes' function so you can tell which sub-record was changed.
Report Writer
Added a Monochrome switch to the printer dialog box to allow for greyscale printing.
Added a new barcode command for printing QR codes.
Added the ability to overwrite the reply to email address in a report to email with @EMAILFROM.
Added the ability to overwrite the recipient email address in a report to email with @EMAILTO.
Added the ability to overwrite the CC email addresses in a report to email with @EMAILCC.
Added the ability to append to the CC email addresses in a report to email with @EMAILACC.
Added the ability to use IF statements on @EMAILFROM, @SUBJECT, @EMAILTO, @EMAILCC, & @EMAILACC.
Added a !== option to report writer to force exact matches on not equals comparisons.
Added report writer command called @EDITFULL which, when used, will call the hook function
associated with a field. Use with caution because if the hook has a prompt, you should not
use this in batch operations.
Account Matching
Disabled the 'Prompt before cascading changes' prompt on a debtor if updates are being done via a
writeback report.
Autodialer
Added a new switch to the Auto Dialer Preference form called 'Update last called' which,
when enabled, will write the current date and time to the 'Last called' date and time
fields on the phone record.
Financials
Added Age - Delinquent to the Commission Rate Table Options.
Added the ability to Reset Interest on Debtors via Batch Processing.
Contact Management
Added the ability to display custom Contact types in the WIP list.
Billing Tree
Enhanced the CC module to adjust the final payment of a recurring plan to match the remaining
balance on the account only if the owing is less than the payment amount and the owing is
greater than zero.
Added a new switch called 'Single fee transaction' to the ACH and Credit Card setup forms which,
when enabled, will only post one fee transaction for the fee amount. The payment transaction
will reflect the full amount of the payment instead of the amount less the fee.
