Welcome to Collect! Version 13.1. This latest version has several new features and functionality,
as well as several optimizations and enhancements to existing features.
The full revision history is available to Members via the
Member Center.
Display And Environment
When opening a record from from a list, it is now refreshed prior to being displayed.
Moved the Financial Summary Totals form to the lower tab section of the Financial Detail form to allow
for more space.
Moved the Judgment fields on the Financial Summary Totals form to a dedicated Judgment form.
Added " Reports to" to the Operator form.
Added Operator Attachments to the Operator Form.
The MFA secret is now copied to the clipboard when the QR code is presented.
Updated all referenced to Report Name on various forms to use the same character count for consistency.
Removed Raima-related Menus.
Added Create Emails and Create Addresses to the Tools -> Utilities menu.
Contact File Attachments on Email contacts will now behave the same as Letter contacts.
When setting the Last Result field on a Phone record, Collect! will now look for a corresponding Phone Contact and update
the Call result field with the same value. It will also set the RPC box on the Phone record and Last RPC date.
Updating the Call Result field on the Contact record will also update the corresponding Phone record.
Moved the Debtor Operator, Sales, Rate, Financial, and Run Plan fields up to get them out of the way of the
Address tab.
Added checkbox to Operator Detail form to disable contact control notes, while leaving the pop ups enabled.
Disabled the graphical status bar globally to optimize processes and added a /status to the Command Line
Startup options to enable the graphical status bar for users who want it.
Added the language pick list to the Associate, Debtor, and Cosigner Speech fields.
Financials
Altered the behavior of the Original Principal and Original Interest fields on the Financial Detail
(Assignment) form. When you fill in those fields, they will still create the 196 and 197 transactions
respectively. If you import multiple 196 (Original Principal) or 197 (Original Interest) transactions,
then Collect! will sum up all the transactions and populate the applicable fields. If you create the
196 (Original Principal) or 197 (Original Interest) manually, then only the first transaction will
be entered into the applicable fields. Once the Original Principal and Original Interest fields on
the Financial Detail (Assignment) form are populated, they will never be altered again. This will
allow you to track the original placement amount, even after adjustments and new invoices are added.
The fields are editable, so you can change them manually or with automated scripts.
Added a box on the Company Detail form called Allow DBL Post Trns on Stmts, which allows a transaction
to appear on multiple statements. Use with caution as it will allow the same transaction to appear on
multiple statements, resulting in over payments to clients.
Contact Management
Implemented Contact Controls. When enabled, you can prevent Calling, Lettering, Emailing, and Texting to
occur on an account that don't meet specified rules.
Implemented Statute of Limitation. When Statute of Limitation rules are defined, Collect! will populate the
Time-Barred date on the Debtor form based on the Itemization Date. When payments are posted, the
Time-Barred date will update based on the Payment date.
Implemented Holidays. Any process that checks for Weekend Dates will now look at the defined Holidays
and skip them.
Implemented Call, Text, and Email Opt In and Out. The values will set a flag in the database and each
opt in or out is logged to a Contact Log table.
Added Amount Paid and Last Payment Date to the Work in Progress list.
When opening Metafiles, if the embedded code contains HTML, Collect! will now open a web browser with
the rendered HTML.
Implemented Create Copy on Repeat and Log Repeat to Notes for Client Contacts.
Report Writer
Connected the Reporting module to the Contact Controls to prevent letters, emails, and texts from going
out that may be in violation of a Contact Control rule.
Added support for print codes and variables in the @fileattach command.
When printing to screen, then to a printer, the letter data is now saved as a Metafile on a Contact, even if the
data displayed on the screen wasn't altered.
Added new Report commands to call the Contact Control functionality.
Added @versioninfo to the report writer to obtain the Collect! version.
Added checkbox to report and printer setup to disable contact control notes when Letters are skipped.
Import/Export
Added checkboxes to the Import Options form called Auto- Create Phone Records, Auto-Create Email Records, and
Auto-Create Address Records which, when enabled, will automatically create the Phone, Email, and Address
records, respectively, on imported Clients, Associates, Debtors, and Cosigners.
Added the ability to run a report after an import finishes.
Credit Bureau Reporting
Added the ability to delay reporting to the Credit Bureau until a defined number of days after a defined
initial letter has been sent. Unchecking the Debtor Address OK box will disable CBR reporting only if the
account has not already been reported.
Added checkbox to CBR setup to disable contact control notes when Debtors are skipped.
Autodialer
Connected the Autodialer module (click to dial) to the Contact Controls to prevent calls from going
out that may be in violation of a Contact Control rule.
Payment Processing
Added a message to the Payment Processing module to notify users if an account is closed.
Added a locking mechanism to CC and ACH module so 2 users can't reconcile at the same time.
