How To Print Letters To A Tagged List

Printing to a tagged list is a useful way of sending an ad-hoc batch letter. Some examples include sending a batch email to Clients for holiday closures or sending a compliance email to selected accounts.

Printing a letter to a group of Clients or Debtors is a two step process.

  1. Select accounts to print to.
  2. Print the letter.

Selecting The Accounts

For this example, we are going to send an existing holiday email to Clients.

  1. Navigate to a Client list under the Browse menu.
  2. Tag the accounts manually or via Search Criteria.

Printing The Letter

  1. Click the Print button or select the Print menu and click Reports and Letters.
  2. Select the Letter to print.
  3. When prompted to Select All or One, select All.
  4. Select or leave the destination. For this example, we are sending an Email, and have selected the option to CC Cosigners (or in this case, Associates).
  5. Click the Print button.
  6. When prompted to confirm if you want to send, select Yes.

Useful Note When a letter is printed to email, Collect! will save the Contact as a Email contact, not a Letter contact. The Description field will contain the name of the Letter that was emailed. It is set to type Email for tracking purposes.
