New Features - 11-3 Build 9
Welcome to Collect! Version 11.3 Build 9. This latest version
has many new features and functionality. There are
also many optimizations and enhancements to existing
features.
Commission To Date
This new field on the Client form displays the total commission
earned on the Client. When a client is recalculated, the
commission amounts on all the client's debtors' transactions
are totaled up and stored in the "Commission to date" field on
the Client form.
Only Payments For Comm To Date
This new check box in Client Settings tells Collect! to use
only " Payment Type" transactions when totalling the new
Commission to Date displayed on the Client form.
Generate On Commission
This new switch in the Transaction Type from enables you
to generate receipt numbers for payments to Commission.
When the "Generate on Commission" option is checked,
only payments with a commission amount will generate a
Receipt Number.
Internal Transaction Type
This new Financial Type enables you to track internal expenses
on an account without affecting either the Debtor's financials or
the Client's commission and return.
A new radio button "Internal" appears under the "Financial Type"
group of radio buttons and a new "Internal" tab has been added
to the Debtor Transaction Summary.
Please refer to Help topic,
Transaction Type Sample - Agency Internal Expenditure
for details.
Import And Export Multiple Contact Plans
You can now import and export several contact plans at once.
Collect! will export the plans into a single *.cpl file. When you
import this file, Collect! will load all the contact plans into your
system. This makes it very easy to transfer several contact
plans quickly in one convenient file.
For details, please refer to Help topics, How to Import a Contact Plan
and How To Export a Contact Plan.
Batch Email And SMS In Scheduler
You can now schedule Email batches and SMS Email batches
in Collect!'s Scheduler. When you configure a Print Batch Letters
task, the Scheduler now shows you the Email option. When
selected, you can also switch ON the SMS option.
Please refer to Print Batch Email in Scheduler for
details.
First And Middle Names In Reports
The new name formatter gives you more flexibility when
bringing first and middle names into your reports. When <fns>
is used, @de.na<fns> for example, Collect! will output all names
after the comma. This new code handles names that have
a two part non-hyphenated first name or a middle name. This
enables you to satisfy the requirements for proper demand letter
or legal letters where the whole name must be displayed.
Don't Prompt On File Overwrite
This new switch in Report Options enables you to refresh
an existing file with new data while preventing Collect!
from prompting you every time you want to overwrite the
file. When this switch is ON, Collect! will automatically
overwrite the existing file that has the same name as the
file you are printing.
Udp Redirect Dialer Plug-In
Implemented a new UDP protocol parser using the
Operator Detail Note 2 field for storing the dialer
string. When the "Use softphone for dialer" switch
is ON, the Note 2 field holds the following
information, "UDP:/ipaddress:port:extension".
When the user clicks a phone number, Collect! will
send "extension, number" to the ipaddress and port
via UDP protocol.
Please refer to Help topic, Softphone for details.
Web Predictive Dialer
Collect! now has an all new Web Predictive Dialer that
enables you to easily integrate your Predictive Dialer with
VoIP and IP-PBX dialing systems. You simply start Collect!
with the new /w2 argument, start Predictive Dialer in Collect!
and wait for calls. Collect! parses the URL sent from the
dialer and pops up the Debtor on your screen. If several
accounts are found with the same phone number, Collect!
returns all results in a list.
Please refer to Help topic, Web Predictive Dialer for details.
Upgrading To This Build
Please refer to Upgrading Topics for details about
upgrading your existing Collect! system to take advantage
of the features and optimizations in this latest release.
If you are upgrading from Version 11.2 build 17 or
earlier, you must do a complete database upgrade
